Job Title: Escalator Maintenance Engineer

Pickerings Lifts is a national, well established, privately owned, independent, leading Industry specialist with 170 years’ experience.

Due to continued success and growth, we require an Escalator Maintenance Engineer to perform maintenance and repairs on all types of escalators covering primarily the M25.

Duties Include:

  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
  • participate in a call-out rota

 

Personal Specification:

  • You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or significant experience in the service and maintenance of escalators
  • You must be an experienced Escalator Engineer with in-depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment
  • Flexibility is important, as overtime maybe required
  • Whilst you must be a team player it is essential that you can also work on your own
  • Candidates should have excellent customer service skills
  • A full driving licence is essential
