Job Title – Service Administrator

Pickerings Lifts is a national, well established, privately owned, independent, leading lift specialist with 170 years’ experience. Due to continued success and growth, we require an experienced Service Administrator based out of our Midlands regional office in Redditch.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our regional team as a Service Administrator. The post holder will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our Midlands office, providing support to the regional operations team in the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Main Duties:

  • Provide a professional and courteous telephone service to internal and external customers.
  • Schedule planned maintenance visits by Engineers, working closely with the Operations and Regional Managers.
  • Co-ordinate and plan service engineer’s planned and reactive works.
  • To provide all customer paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Usage of customer portals to ensure that the in-house service management system data is accurate.
  • Process and verify all engineers’ paperwork including accuracy of timesheets.
  • Report to the Regional manager on planning/progress of Engineers’ service routes.
  • Provide administration assistance to all business units and the Regional Manager as required.

Personal Specifications:

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent phone and communication skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
