Throughout the month of March, across our social media platforms, we focused on our Warrington branch with engineers covering much of the North West and North Wales – from Stoke and Stockport to Liverpool and Llandudno.🗺️
Take a look at the round up of activity below 👇🏻 and contact the Warrington office here.
Alan McEvatt is our very capable Regional Manager working out of our Warrington office covering much of the North West and North Wales.
He served in the armed forces for many years as an electrical engineer, working on military vehicles such as tanks and jeeps, travelling as far as Germany, Egypt and Oman. 🎖️
After dutifully serving his country, he then moved into the lift industry, putting his engineering and management experience to good use by supporting those with limited mobility – installing and maintaining stairlifts, platform lifts and other mobility products. 🧑🏻🦽
We are now fortunate to be benefitting from all of his previous experience and vast knowledge. He has been with Pickerings for four years now, where he enjoys delivering a local, personal touch to our national expertise and capabilities. 😄
Alan works with his team of engineers, technicians and office staff to ensure repairs, services and refurbishments run smoothly to keep our clients moving.
From working on military vehicles and tanks to stairlifts and lifting platforms, Alan has a wealth of engineering and leadership experience to support your needs.
As part of the focus on our North West team, we met up with our engineer, Dave Rigby as he carried out some repair jobs in Liverpool city centre.🏙️
Dave built an instant rapport with his customers, both long term and new, thanks to his friendly personality and the trust that he will carry out a thorough job. 😄
Watch the video below to see the level or service you can expect from our team, as Dave works swiftly and diligently to get out of order lifts back up and running as quickly as possible. 👨🏻🔧
Thanks for inviting us along Dave 👍🏻
It’s not just city high rises in the likes of Liverpool that our North West team look after, they also cover the beautiful rural areas of North Wales.
We recently completed a maintenance visit at the Royal Victoria Hotel at the foot of Snowdon to ensure their lift is moving smoothly.
No one wants to be climbing the stairs after hiking 3,560 feet to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain!
A gym in Liverpool has reported an unreliable lift so we’ve taken a look at their aged equipment and will be replacing it with a brand-new control system, door controller and hydraulic unit.
✅ Improved reliability
✅ Better availability of parts
✅ Ensured compliance with modern regulations
✅ Looking good with an interior reline
That’ll be a weight off for our gym owners 🏋🏻♀️
We're wrapped up the month's focus on our Warrington office by highlighting the vast experience of their Operations Manager Ian Edwards.
Ian has worked in the industry keeping lifts running across the North West and North Wales his whole career. He started out as a trainee lift engineer in 1987 and we were delighted to bring his wealth of experience to Pickerings when he joined us five years ago.
Ian is the grease that keeps all the cogs turning in our Warrington office, coordinating jobs, ordering parts and ensuring his team is on hand to maintain, repair and refurbish your lift.
You can be confident that Ian has the local and technical knowledge to keep you moving.
