Our customer Ricardo Automotive & Industrial are a global environmental and automotive consultancy, with niche manufacturing capabilities. With offices in 23 countries and 15 locations in the UK alone, they have recently had a complete building refurbishment at their Head Office in Shoreham-by-Sea, UK.

Project brief

The 20-year-old sliding cold-room doors, and externally mounted roller shutter doors needed to be removed, safely disposed of and new internally mounted insulated roller doors installed.

The team at Pickerings Loading Systems developed a project plan to remove, dispose, source and install the replacement doors within budget and timescales, whilst minimising downtime.

Project delivery

Working in conjunction with our customer Ricardo Automotive & Industrial we installed the three doors over a two week period, any unforeseen issues which were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

The team communicated clearly to all onsite staff throughout the whole project, ensuring the safety of everyone and breaks in normal site operational activity were kept to an absolute minimum.
